Hello all you wonderful Mickaboo Folks!! Just a reminder that the Adoption Fair scheduled for Feb. 25 is fast approaching... that is a Sunday afternoon. It will be held at the Pet Care Depot, which is right next to the Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center off of Norris Canyon Road in San Ramon. For those of you who have foster birds, it is a great opportunity to introduce your bird to potential "forever homes". We learned from the last Adoption Fair that meeting the birds "up close and personal" really does result in adoptions. Not only is it an opportunity for your foster birds to meet their "forever homes", it is also an opportunity for you to socialize and hang out with other "bird people". So mark your calendars! Once you've made your plans, please let me know which foster birds you'll be bringing, and their specie(s) - we need to plan ahead and make space for everybody! Also, we need volunteers to help set up, greet the public, and answer questions about Mickaboo, who we are, what we do (rescue birds), bird care, etc. If you are available for this sort of thing, please let me know.
