I want to send out huge "THANK YOU"s to Shannon & Bill for offering to take in Bruno & Caesar, and to Lynn Magnussen and to Christine Sexton for offering to take in a Dusky each. There's still some juggling to get all the birds moved, but it's a huge relief to me to know that these four will be in their new foster homes before I leave for France. I would also like to say thank you to the people who have offered short-term space if needed as we move birds from one home to another, and those who have emailed me to offer moral support. It really helps me get through a rough day when I'm surrounded by so many giving and open hearts. As a final quick note: Rojo and Paco the cherryheads do still need foster homes ready for when their current foster dad deploys next month. I'd sure love to know those new homes are in place before I get on a plane 17 days from now. Please let me know if you can help!
