A woman with health problems has called Mickaboo because she can no longer take care of her bird. The bird is a 2 year old Meyers Parrot. The bird used to talk but no longer. Because she suffers from migraine headaches, she keeps a cover over the birds cage in the afternoons to stop the bird from screaming. The bird hasn't seen a vet for about 2 years and she does not have the money to get the bird checked. The bird was originally hand fed. If anyone has space for a Meyers even as a temporary measure please let me know. Thanks, Lynn
