[Mickaboo Action] Foster home for a weird situation?

Hi all I have a weird situation - I have a Dusky conure being surrendered by someone who really is trying to do right by his bird - he is a chirpractic intern, still taking classes, and is not home enough for his bird. He offered to take in another of our fostered Dusky conures, which was serendipitous since the foster parent had told me she can't foster anymore - however now that the phone call to go over his application is done, I'm realizing it will mean that while both Duskies will have each other, they will get very little human interaction, if any. That will make them just all that much harder to find an adoptive home for them. I'm feeling rather stuck between a rock and a hard place here - ideally I'd love to get both Duskies moved before I go on vacation in October. It doesn't have to be both birds into one foster home, but if that were possible it would be even better. Right now both birds are "only birds" and while I think Pierre is still getting human interaction, I'm fairly sure Dusty is getting little to none. Please, if you can help, let me know. I feel so badly for these two birds - they both need a new foster home asap. ~ Ailsa Conure Coordinator, Teacher Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue http://www.mickaboo.org http://www.cafepress.com/mickaboo "Be the Change You Wish to See in the World." ~ Gandhi
