Hi Everyone at Mickaboo, Hello! My name is Sylvester the Budgie! I am a very cute green and yellow budgie and have I have another lil' budgie friend with me as well. We are so excited beacuse today, the wonderful Mickaboo volunteer Francie Waller is picking us up from the Placer Co Shelter! We've been at the shelter for quite some time, and we're anxious to get back into a home type setting. The people at the Placer Co Shelter were very nice to us and treated us well, but it just isn't the same as being in a home environment with a special person to take care of you and spend time with you. Our previous owner was an older gentleman who recently passed away. :-( We miss him terribly and we are looking forward to finding a good new home and a lifetime friend that we can hang out with. We really don't need too much-we come with our own cage and toys, and according to the shelter, we seem to be healthy and are eating well. Do any of you have a cozy little space at your home for me and my friend? We'd love to have a nice place to stay for the Holidays. Budgies are fun and we have very cute little personalities!
