[Mickaboo Action] Blue & Gold Macaw ON DEATH ROW?
Recently I sent a note about a Blue & Gold macaw being held in one of the local shelters not known for quality care or humane treatment. We have been advised today that they will give us the bird but it has to be moved before close of business on Saturday. This shelter is known for euthanizing unwanted parrots and our Shelter Coordinator is very anxious that we move this bird NOW. This bird was dropped off in the after hours kennel, is fearful and exhibits some plucking. The bird is also relatively quiet. Please contact me ASAP if you can help with this bird.
