I know sometimes it feels like foster birds only come in and never go home. But honest, we do have lots of new adopters coming into the fold. In the meantime, we have a pair of budgies coming out of the Placer shelter that need a foster home -- Francie went out on a long limb because she rescued them from the shelter, but she has no more quarantine space left. (This is a lady with a houseful of critters!) So it's time for someone over in the Big Valley to help rescue Francie. Please take these budgies into your hearts for Christmas. In the Bay Area, we have a similar situation -- a family took budgies from the San Francisco shelter under the pending threat of something dire, and now we need to find a longer term foster home for them. These are two little boys (posted as Luca and Petrie) who already have their own blog (check it out, the link is posted with their story on the Mickaboo website).
