We have an elderly lady in Stockton area who wants to rehome her 2
chickens. Sarah Forstner has agreed to take them but would need help from
volunteers in that area to help round up the hens for Barbara and transport
them to Sarah, anyone?
Thanks,
Cathy

Hi Cathy, I am the one that has the two chickens they are both about 1+
yrs and still lay eggs. One is white and the other is golden brown. They
are med. size and mostly free range.
I have 10 cats and a dog and they love to harass them and there is also a
lot of Raccoons in the neighborhood. I have had to secure all my trees at
the bottom as well as cover my patio in order to keep them.
During the winter they stay on the patio most of the time, leaving quite
a mess. It isn't too bad in the Summer, but the winter it is pretty bad
as my Patio is right off of my kitchen sliding door.
I understand from Maria that you have other chickens. Do you have a coop
for them so they can be safe?
Also I was wondering if you are in the Stockton area? I am elderly and
have a problem driving. I would have to get someone to help me catch them
at night when they are roosting in order to get them into a carrier.
Do you have any suggestions ????? and can you take them?
Barbara
