Phone msg received- Kerry Jackson (530) 622-6842 works in a convalescent home where there are a number of budgies. One of the budgies is very sick and they don't have money to take it to a vet. The other budgies are picking on it. Wants to surrender to us ASAP. ------------------------- I called and spoke with Kerry- there are 3 budgies one whom is being picked on badly- looks very sick, losing feathers etc She now has it separated from the others. They can't afford to take it to the vet. Couple places told her they'd euthanize it for her but she doesn't want to do that. She is adopting out the other 2 budgies as she feels terrible about this. We need to get the bird from El Dorado Care Center ( a nsg home) in Placerville. Address is 3280 Washington St Placerville.I feel badly as I knew Placerville and used to work at a different care Center near there. It's too far from me now. Can someone pick up the budgie and take it to Roseville asap! it's now 2:20. Kerry is going to also try to find someone to take it too but doesn't know she can.
