[Mickaboo Action] Amazon Foster Homes - HANDLED FOR NOW

Thanks - you came through. We can make it for a few more amazon intakes although we are not able to accommodate the birds that are coming in together unless they can be in the same cage. I appreciate the help and apologize for any guilt tripping (no I'm not really sorry). Ok, one more true bit of humor although it sounds like an old joke. Today, as I was setting up cages in my garage the doorbell rang and since I was more grubby than usual I did not answer it. In a few minutes the phone rang which I did answer and it was my very elderly next door neighbor calling to tell me she left a bag of newspapers on the front porch for my birds (they are very well read you know). She said in her quavery voice "I was so worried when I saw your car but you didn't answer the door." I replied: "I am in the garage setting up cages with toys for abused parrots" AND I KID YOU NOT SHE SAID: "Oh honey, that is so nice. So many young people (?) just seem to forget about their parents!" Have a great day and thanks for everything you do to help the birds.
