It's raining conures in need of foster homes. I just found out that one of our foster parents is being deployed at the end of October. He is told it will be 6 months. He's asking for a temporary foster home to take over watching his foster conures, a cherryhead named Paco and a Mitred named Rojo. I'm fairly sure that if we don't have another foster home lined up, the army will not delay his deployment while we work on it. These birds do not have to go into foster homes together, they are not bonded. People, I REALLY need foster homes for five of these six ASAP. One Dusky, a Nanday/Mitred bonded pair, and now a Mitred and Cherryhead. I leave in less than three weeks to go on vacation ... my to-do list is getting longer not shorter. Please, if you can help with any of these birds, please let me know! ~ Ailsa Conure Coordinator, Teacher Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue http://www.mickaboo.org http://www.cafepress.com/mickaboo "Be the Change You Wish to See in the World." ~ Gandhi
