Oh - and Tom -- I forgot to say, what a lovely sentiment
you've written about Murphy and your birds "lined up" at your memorial service,
along with the firefighters you've trained. I was at the funeral of a
friend's father, who was a Fire Captain at Treasure Island for years, and I
think it was one of the most moving tributes I've ever been privileged to
attend.
Thank you for all you have done for us in your chosen
profession, and now all you do for Mickaboo!

Behaviorist Needed
Hi! I have been communicating with a family who has a
Hans Macaw and a brand new baby. They do not believe they have done a
good job with the little macaw, because he is nippy, and appears not to have
any boundaries. Initially they wanted to surrender to Mickaboo but now
are willing to work with the bird because they love him desperately (and of
course their baby too). They are in the Marysville,Roseville,Sacto
area. Can anyone recommmend a qualified bird behaviorist, who will not
charge them an arm and a leg? Thanks.
