if anyone can go w/ another (very safely caged) cockatiel, please do. the best chance we have of finding a lost bird is usually by getting another of the same species to call to them. she could outfly a crow as long as she's still strong so it's worth it to try looking for her. tammy Begin forwarded message:

Hi Tammy-

Lola flew into our shop (1101 Main St. Redwood City, CA) and back out before we could get the doors shut. Our employees last saw her on a telephone wire across the street around 5:45. There is a large community of crows that live in a nearby tree that went after her. I went out this morning & walked the neighborhood & local businesses to no avail.

Lola’s owner is blind & Lola is one of her therapy pets and this is why I feel that it is important that she be found. I just spoke to Lorena to give her an update & told her that I would make up flyers & post them tonight or at the very latest, 1st thing in the morning. I will keep you updated.
