Hi All! Mickaboo currently has at least three aggressive amazons in short term foster homes that need to be "gentled" - whispered to, sung to, read to, fed special foods and shown that humans can be trusted and can love and protect them. Mickaboo will provide large cages so they can exercise inside until they are ready to experience out of cage time. If I can move these birds to longer term foster homes where they get focused attention, it will free up space for other birds waiting to be surrendered. Don't be afraid! These are not big alligators or mountain lions or bears - just little light weight bundles of feathers with attitude. These birds all have very entertaining personalities and deserve every chance we can give them. Please step up and offer to help just one of these guys. You will be thrilled at their progress.
