Hi!  This is another plea to help Sinbad, the older Red Lored amazon who is in Reno.  It seems now he is STUCK in Reno because we don't have a way to bring him closer into the Mickaboo network.  If anyone has plans to be in that area soon, please contact me and perhaps we can coordinate his move.

And while I have your attention:  once again the pressure rises to find homes for a number of older amazons, who through no fault of their own have worn out their welcome with their families. I don't have any foster homes with vacancies at all.

Sinbad - 37 year old Red Lored.  Quiet, mellow, needs continued resocialization
Chewie - 20+ year old Yellow Nape.  Used to be friendly - needs resocialization
Pancho - age unknown probably older, Double Yellow.  Some health issues being addressed in a hospital setting.  Needs resocialization.  Need home by next Wed.

As you may know amazons can live to be 80 years old and more.  Although these birds have had long lives already much of their lives are still ahead. We need to ensure those years are comfortable and healthy and full of good care.

Poor little old Sinbad and probably Pancho too will have to go into my garage (think old house, old garage and old caretaker! ) unless there is someone willing to find a place for them in their home.  Chewie hasn't been surrendered yet and will not be able to come in without your help.

Please help.  Thanks.
