Hello to All,

Once again, storage is becoming a problem for us in the equipment end of MCBR. The new, larger Redwood City unit is close to full. We have to leave SOME room for other things besides cages. Tom has mentioned a large, container type storage unit but that is down the road. My garage and side "yard" is full of cages under tarps. We are currently working on getting old, rusted cages re-powder coated. This is a work in progress. Nancy in the East Bay is out of room.

I am asking for any help you can give me. I won't take all your extra space that, believe me, I know is hard to come by. If you have a small corner in your garage or home that we could borrow, that would really help us out. Just enough for one or two cages. If you could email me or Nancy Powell and let us know, that would be great. Every effort will be made to use these cages first. Of course, the speed at which they are used depends on the needs of the foster birds that come into our system.

If we do not have places to store newly donated cages, we must either turn down offers or start to recycle older cages that will, in the near future, be turned into like new homes for our birds. Donated cages are a large part of what makes Mickaboo go. Many, many of our birds who are taken in by us are housed in temporary, donated cages.

So you see my dilemma. If you can help us out, please do. If you can't, thank you for taking the time to read this email.
