Foster Home needed for a Father of a Fifteen-Year-Old Daughter. Weighs about 20 Stone, eats most people foods, but the vet has been yelling about blood sugar and cholesterol, so he has been staying away from sweets and bad carbs. Oddly, avocados are one of his favorites and he exhibits no ill effects, and will try to drink your red wine if you are not looking. Fairly quiet, seems to favor his left wing way more than his right, loves trees, but wants nothing to do with any Bush. Willing to clean his own cage. Will almost always step up on command, but requires a strong perch. Doesn't much care for the Birdsitting DVDs, but will happily sit or putter around for hours watching historic dramas, the History Channel, or the Discovery Channel. Will also listen to the Eagles for hours, as well as the Beatles, Beach Boys, and the REAL country music of Waylon, Willie, Johnny, Merle, Lefty, Patsy, Loretta, Dolly, Kenny, and George. Vocabulary is excellent, although sometimes earthy, is a hockey fan, and sometimes startles humans and birds alike when he yells "Puck Off!", "Shoot!" or "YESSSSSSSSSSS!" His words are not perfect, though, as he pronounces Fox News as "Fox Noise". No obvious plucking, gets along well with all companion bird species except for Cockatoos, but has no real experience with big Macaws. Poicephalus and mini-macaws are his favorites. Some pigeons live across the street, but he has not met them. Is up to date on all his inoculations, and sees the vet regularly. Loves showers, tolerates baths, does pretty well in the car without a carrier. Loves to see the housekeeper on her weekly visits, but gets quite ruffled when the bathroom and kitchen look worse than they originally did 6 hours later. At these times, seems very interested in chewing on active electrical cords, which he usually ignores. Gets along well with dogs, cats, tortoises, fish, little kids, teenage boys, most women and men. Although now abiding by Mickaboo's "No Reproduction" rules, has four young'uns that he adores- but the fourth that he would probably adore more from afar.
