I agree with Heather. Traditionally a tag line is used in advertising a company or product, but isn’t necessarily “attached” to the logo at all times. I vote to choose a tag line but then set some parameters about when and how it’s used. I really like SAVING THE WORLD ONE BIRD AT A TIME but isn’t that tag line basically taken already: SAVING THE WORLD ONE XXX AT A TIME. I can’t remember whose it is off hand, but doesn’t some company already say that? So it doesn’t get my vote because of that. I agree with Heather once again on the tag line: Where even the smallest birds get big second chances. Several of these ARE too long ... Although my least favorite is this little puppy: SAVING ALL THE BIRDS WE CAN. It sounds, um, whiney or something.

One thing to keep in mind is that a tag line needs to be memorable; it doesn’t need to tell the whole story.

Muddying the waters for you one email at a time,

My favorite is Where even the smallest birds get big second chances. However, my vote is for no tagline. I think our new name says exactly what we do and having a tagline seems sort of redundant to me. We can always use titles on our pieces to convey these same sentiments, tailored for a particular audience--I don't think we need to clutter up the logo trying to say too much that we have plenty of room to say elsewhere. Just my opinion!

We need to decide if we're going with a new tagline with our new "Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue" banner or if we're leaving it off.  I have NO idea how to decide this........

My top pick at this point is:

Saving the world one bird at a time.

but here are some of the other suggestions:

Saving all the birds we can.

Doing everything we can for every companion bird - large or small.

Large or small--doing everything we can to save them all.

There is no parrot too large or too small - we are dedicated to helping them all.

Where even the smallest birds get big second chances.

Improving lives, one bird at a time.

Saving lives, one bird at a time.

Saving all the birds we can.
