Michelle Yesney's husband has picked up the bird and will take it to Dr. Van Sant. I will need a temporary foster home as soon as the bird is released. If anyone can provide quarantine for a large macaw let me know and we will try to get a cage to you ASAP.
Did Richard confirm what kind of macaw it is? I'm all curious - especially since it was dropped by a hawk. That's one brave hawk if it's a full sized macaw! ~ Ailsa
