I haven't had any offers to help on this. I know we're all swamped and conures tend to make many people want to run away screaming - but honest, you wouldn't even have to see a conure in person, no fostering required!
If noone else offers to help out, Nancy Powell has said she will take it on - but we really
don't want to add anything more to Nancy's plate, trust me on this. We
need her focused on what she already has *heaped* way way WAY up on that plate.
Besides, if she gets too overloaded while I'm in the southwest in
August, she may forcibly stop me from going to France in October, and
that could get Really Ugly. ;)
It really shouldn't be too big a deal, but it does need coverage, and I will be available by cell phone during most of the August trip for any real hiccups.

Two weeks from tomorrow I'll be on vacation for 12 days. I may well not have any access to email during that time, but even if I do have access it will be sporatic at best.
So I need someone to stand in for me, follow through on any potential adoptions I have pending at that time, and respond to emails sent to the conure coordinator (if only to say "If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911. If you need to talk to the
conure coordinator, she is on vacation and will be back on August 20th. Please leave a message at the tone.")
Anyone available to help out with this please? I'd like to get someone lined up so I can get that person up to speed before I go.
