Hi Everyone,

Intake has slowed a bit due to the suspension but we are still trying to get as many shelter birds out as possible.

Currently there are five shelter tiels in need of foster homes:

Two of them are currently at FTB and will be released very soon. Of these two, one will need a foster parent with experience treating ill and/or injured birds. Her situation is a bit delicate and she will require meds and follow up visits to the vet.
One is with Dr. Stern in the Santa Cruz area and depending on his diagnosis, may possibly need meds and follow up care.
The other two are still sitting in the shelter. One in San Jose and one in Martinez.

Please help me in getting these tiels out of their current situations and into the WONDERFUL foster homes that I know are out there!!

If you have room for a new feathered friend please contact me off list.....the fate of these tiels depends on the availability of foster homes.....we can turn these unfortunate souls into happy little birdies :-)
