I'd love to see that. I usually point out to people that the kitchen stove is a threat to small children, but we don't get rid of it; we teach the children that it's not safe and is off limits except with adult supervision. There is no reason this can't be applied to pets as well. I'd love to have an article to give to people who are heading down this road - although I will say that in the end, the last time I had to deal with "young children and parrots" it worked out for the best in the end since the bird in question went to an even better home within a few weeks :)
