Hi all ~ We have a stray conure at the Silicon Valley Humane Society that needs a foster home if we're going to be able to help. Here's what I know: They have a stray conure in that they were wondering if we might be interested in taking in. She says she believes it is a Nanday conure. It is green and black in color. It seems friendly as he comes up to the cage bars to say hello, but has been too afraid to step up for anyone yet. She says he looks healthy. That's all I know at this point - so the bird will need a strong quarantine since it it came in as a stray, and lots of socialization time to help us assess if its just freaked out at this point or what.
