anyone get him from Concord to Holly Street? Or from Concord to Fremont or
part way to Fremont and I will meet you? I can take him the rest of the

hi, i just got a call from the contra costa emergency clinic (dr. otten--- used to be the avian vet at montclair vet. hosp. in oakland---he somehow had my home number). they are a 24 hr. e/r and just got a young male 'tiel in who has a bad "degloving" injury on his wing. apparently, the owner came home this morning to find him bleeding and brought him to this e/r. the owner is dealing with a terminally ill daughter and cannot deal with the bird's care so the dr. called us to ask about whether euthanasia should be performed (the bird isn't tame and is "aggressive"). can anyone pick this little guy up today? i asked the dr. to give him a baytril shot and some pain meds in the meantime but he needs to get to one of our vets asap. here is the info on the vet hospital: please let me know if we can help.
