Hi folks, We were just contacted by a shelter in Reno about a very sick little Cockatiel. He (or she) immediately moved to the top of our list of Cockatiels needing foster homes, because it sounds like he's in pretty bad shape right now. Here's the info we have so far: he's 8 years old, has swollen feet and legs from a leg injury, and is missing many of his feathers. We're working on getting him down to the Bay Area ASAP, and our wonderful Dr. Ferguson will be in touch with the shelter shortly about what they can do to help him in the meantime.
