Ok folk! A little bird person stepped up () and took the challenge. Yeah for Karen Watkin, who has been fostering cockatiels and budgies, but will soon foster a friendly old Amazon whose owner just died. Poncho has only one wing and is pretty raggedy but Karen is going for the gold. To think this would have been the bird we would have had to walk away from at the Alameda Shelter! She is setting a great example.
