Hi everybody--<br>This is a tiel who almost didn&#39;t make it.&nbsp; Without our shelter teams in place, little Smokey would have died of starvation.&nbsp; Tiffany Chin has been the only member of the shelter team that covers all the Santa Cruz area shelters.&nbsp; When she picked up Smokey to transfer him from the Scotts Valley shelter to the Watsonville shelter (the best one for birds in the area), she immediately knew the little guy was in trouble.&nbsp; He only weighed 78 grams, had black poops, and was behaving like a baby bird begging for food.&nbsp; Tiffany was truly a life saver.
<br><br>After a trip to the vet and supportive care, Smokey is doing just fine!&nbsp; He&#39;s ready to go home.........but we need a home for him to go to.<br><br>Yours, maybe?&nbsp; This guy deserves some TLC.<br><br>Thanks for considering it!
