Hi Everybody-- We really need people who can pick up birds from the Martinez shelter. This shelter is a touch difficult to work with and does euthanize birds if we don't take them. Susan Mini has been making ALL the trips to Martinez and it's wearing her out. Just to give you an idea of what this has meant for Susan-----she lives in Napa and the drive to the Martinez shelter is 1 hour each way. Please contact me off-list if you can help. Remember that an offer to help doesn't mean you have to make trips on a weekly basis! If you could commit to one trip a month that would ease the incredible burden on Susan.
