It is with great sadness that I must let you know that Paco, the old, blind cockatiel has passed away.

I want to send out a special thank you to Karen Mierta for agreeing to take this little one in. Paco would have flown to Las Vegas in just a few days to live out his golden years with her. I have already spoken to Karen and although she never met Paco in person she felt a special connection with him and was very excited about welcoming him to her family.

And thanks to everyone involved in Paco's rescue....I feel better knowing that his last days were spent as a Mickaboo bird.
