Hi all ~
It looks like I have a foster home for Louie the GCC and one for Possum the Patagonian ... but I'm still looking for a home for Pierre the Dusky Conure.
Pierre
is a 3-year-old female Dusky conure
(named before DNA testing was done!) The mom in the family is very sick and is afraid of infection from her pets due to medical procedures she's had to undergo. All the pets in the house have been
moved to the garage or the outdoors except Pierre,
who has moved into the 9-year-old daughter's room.
Pierre has been very well
socialized, will lie on her back in a hand, etc., but isn't getting
any out-time these days because the Mom doesn't want to handle her and
won't let the daughter have her out without supervision. Pierre
has taken to being very loud - very likely because she's gone from lots
of attention to being in her cage 24/7. Again, it would be wonderful
to get her into a foster home that can give her attention and love so
that she stays well-socalized, which always makes it easier to find
forever homes for the little feathered butts.
Please let me know if you can help?
Thanks,
