 action@mickaboo.org<br><br> Recently I sent a note about a Blue &amp; Gold macaw being held in one of the local shelters not known for quality care or humane treatment.&nbsp; We have been advised today that they will give us the bird but it has to be moved before close of business on Saturday.&nbsp; This shelter is known for euthanizing unwanted parrots and our Shelter Coordinator is very anxious that we move this bird NOW.  <br><br>This bird was dropped off in the after hours kennel, is fearful and exhibits some plucking.
