Hi-- As you know, we're very close to finalizing our new name---"Mickaboo Companion Bird Rescue". When we start using the new name on the website and printed material, we're going to drop "Rescuing parrot type birds in Northern California." Two reasons for that: 1) We don't want to limit ourselves geographically 2) The new name says the same thing re what we do As a result, we'd like to come up with a new tag line or 'condensed statement of purpose'. One of the things that makes Mickaboo what it is, is that we do not triage birds and we do not make any distinctions in the level of care we offer birds based on their monetary value---budgies gets the same level of care as macaws. Every bird we take in gets the best we've got in terms of medical care, multiple opinions in difficult cases, surgeries, and long-term treatment. Can anyone come up with a short way to say that? --N -- Nancy Powell Operations Manager Mickaboo Cockatiel Rescue Don't breed, Don't buy, Adopt a needy bird today!
