There is a female yellow headed Amazon by the name of "Ronald" at the San Francisco Animal Care & Control that we have been asked to take. "Ronald" was confiscated from a home in SF where the animals were in filthy conditions without food or water. Ronald and an African Grey were found in a dark, dingy basement, living in a small dirty cage without food and water. The Grey is being adopted out by SFACC. It appears that Ronald does not like men.
Mickaboo took in TWO surrendered amazons today and our newest approved amazon foster home took both. Thanks Skip for stepping up when we needed you.
Now is there anyone else out there who can step up for Ronald? Please contact me URGENTLY. Thanks.
