Hi Everyone, There is a tiel in the Sac area....at Loomis Basin Vet Clinic....who needs to be moved as soon as possible. This tiel is in need of proper medical care as the place he/she is at cannot provide it over the weekend. If there is anyone who may be able to get this tiel even part way to the Bay Area tonight or tomorrow, it would be very helpful and much appreciated! [Mickaboo Action] Urgent Amazon Foster Home Needed

Hi! Sinbad, the raggedy little old Red Lored Amazon, has been living in far off Reno since he was surrendered to our one foster home in that area. However, this foster home also takes in special needs children and according to one baby's doctor bird dander can be dangerous to a little girl with a terminal disease in that home. We must move Sinbad NOW. If I can arrange transport from Reno to somewhere in our network, is anyone willing to help him? Even short term foster placement will help. His story is on the website. A coworker has noticed a crow in his backyard since yesterday. He's at home this morning and has noticed the bird is still there. I could foster Zazu. I am at Dr. Speers like weekly anyway. I have a big conure cage, but I would need to get a few teil cages. I was going to get some on my way to Holly St. Next time I went there, but haven't yet. My poor Zazu has picked at the top of her wings so much there are bloody sores. She will not come out of her cage anymore. I really don't know what to do with her. She isnt eating much either. I give her lots of different foods...both commercial and fruits and veggies. Also all kinds of different treats. She doesn't even eat her sunflower seeds which has always been her favorite. I do want someone who will love and care for her, not take her and sell her. But I am afraid for her the way she is going here. I have a new kitten which did try to get her for a couple of weeks, but has been pretty much leaving her alone now. I really don't know what to do with her anymore. When I stick my hand in to get her out she attacks me. Which is not usual. And she wont take a bath anymore either. And that was always a favorite of hers also. Our ability to take in this bird and give her a new start really depends on the two big IFs: IF I can find a way to get her here from Fresno and IF we have a foster home to take her in. Please email me if you can help make those IFs into "Can do"s. If I can't get help with these two needs, we can't help Zazu.
