I'm Sonny, a Blue Crowned Conure. My early history is lost to the winds of time, but about six years ago I went to live with a teenage girl who recently was kicked out of her house. She left me at the Native Wildlife Rescue, where a volunteer took me home and called Mickaboo. I was originally supposed to go into a new home with other Blue Crowned Conures, but it turns out I have the papilloma virus - which means I can only live in a household that has other birds with this disease or into a household as an only-bird.
Other than my illness though, I'm a happy bird. I love to talk and play and watch the world go by outside a window. I'm fond of human company ... so if you're looking for a sweet and intelligent bird and would be ok with having only me in your life for the rest of my life, please let Mickaboo know!
