Mickey and Peri were a happy couple, spending their days preening each other and whispering sweet budgie nothings. We don't know what happened to Mickey, she died of a sudden illness, as many birds do. Little birds hide their symptoms very well in order to protect themselves from predators. Now she is gone, and Peri is missing her.
