It's good that Mickaboo takes in birds that come to us without question or hesitation. Bubbles came to us as a sweet but pudgie budgie, happy to sit on anyone's finger, to play on his swing, and jingle his bell toys. When he became ill, we cared for him and played with him, and hoped he would get better. We will miss him from our flock.

Hi, there! I'm Bubbles, the Ultimate Budgie. In case you're not familiar with the title, it refers to someone that is everything a budgie should be. You know, like "Extreme Sports", or "UltraLight", I'm the real deal! What could you possibly want in a budgie that I don't have? I'm very, very cute, I'm blue, I'm curious, and I'm named Bubbles. Ok, you're looking at my tail. Cute, isn't it? It's just a temporary fashion statement, sort of like getting a buzz cut for your hair. I like people, and am prepared to hang out with other cute young people like myself, provided that they have good manners and don't grab or poke at me through the cage bars. In fact, the Mickaboo foster home where I hang out right now has several very cute young people, sort of like a budgie gang. It's a lot more fun than the animal shelter place I was in before. However...I am definitely in the market for the Ultimate Home -- a permanent spot for the Ultimate Budgie. Doesn't your life need a little effervescence -- maybe even some Bubbles?
