Update, 1 Oct 2009: My foster mom says that I have a wonderful singing voice and am doing very well in her care. I won't brag about my musical ability but I must agree with her about the doing well part. The food here is great and the company's even better. While I like to be around humans, I also need to be with other cockatiels. Do you have a home full of tiels and friendly humans with room for one more sunny voice?

My name is Bob, which is a human word that means lonely cockatiel. At least, that's my theory. I was rescued from a strange place with terrible noises going on all the time. The lady who rescued me is very kind, she feeds me and talks to me and tells me that I sing lovely songs. But she is always rushing off to do all of those strange things that humans do all the time, and I am left to sing to the budgies in the next cage. I'm afraid to become very friendly with her because she might leave me. But if someone promised to love me forever, I might decide to become friends. As you can see from my picture, I'm a very handsome boy, but I need a friend. Would you like me to train you to be a cockatiel companion? I'm up for it!
