Grace was the other half of the pair Grace and Rainier until she sadly passed away. Grace's foster mom promptly got her to an emergency vet when she noticed that something was wrong; unfortunately it was too late. Grace was a happy Mickaboo bird in a wonderful foster home. Grace was very bonded to Rainier and they made a very sweet couple. As with all birds who pass while in our care, a necropsy is being performed. We hope to learn what caused Grace's death and apply that knowledge to better understand the illnesses and diseases that affects our companion birds and how to better prevent and treat them. Grace will be buried in the backyard of one of our kind, generous and very dedicated volunteers where she will join many other Mickaboo birds who are no longer with us.

Grace, may you rest in peace sweet girl. Thank you for allowing us to care for you. I bet life is beautiful over the Rainbow Bridge!
