I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Hi! My name is Andy. I am a beautiful Congo African Grey looking to find a new home. My previous caregiver loved me a lot and really tried to do what was best for me, but she is in the military and will be moving around a lot, so keeping a large parrot like myself would be somewhat difficult. I have to say my previous caregiver really helped me out a lot! You see, when she bought her home a year ago, I came with the purchase of the house! The people who had me before didn't want to take me along with them, so they left me behind. Needless to say, my previous caregiver was quite surprised to find me there! I was in pretty bad shape. I was on a bad diet and lived in a very small cage, but my caregiver took me under her wing, bought me a big beautiful cage with lots of toys and good food, and patiently worked with me to gain my trust. I have to admit, I am still a bit timid, but I'm very interested in becoming friendly with the right person who will be patient with me and be willing to go slow to gain my trust. I am fully feathered and am quite a handsome fellow, but I do have a malocclusion of my beak (that's medical jargon for a beak that doesn't line up properly). That doesn't seem to have kept me from enjoying my food though, and my foster mom has been trimming my beak to help get it somewhat lined up again. I also am very talkative and make all kinds of noises and sounds such as whistles, cell phone sounds, dogs barking, and a variety of human vocabulary. With the right person, I really could blossom and become the friendly, outgoing kind of guy I know I can be. What do you say? Are you that special person, who with a little patience and love, can help me learn to trust again?
