UPDATE 12/24/2007: Hi, everyone! It's us, Joey and Mickey, again! We have a great big cage in a bedroom that we share with our foster brother. A little heater keeps us warm at night. We all go to sleep listening to Beethoven. We also like to listen to our foster brother and his mom play the violin. We like songs with lots of fast notes best. We also like to sit on the shower perch because the shower is like a BIG aviary. We can look out at the cats and say "nyah, nyah, nyah!" and they can't get to us! We like to eat our Zupreem pellets and kale. We're learning to "call the boys" by imitating the boatswain's whistle. Our tail feathers were cut by someone (weird, huh?), and they are starting to grow back now. Our favorite thing to do is to try and steal jewelry off our foster mom. Last night we helped our foster mom and dad wrap Christmas presents. We liked sitting on the presents and making deposits. And playing with the ribbon. We like to sit on heads and shoulders, and even helped our foster brother with his homework last week, and we have pictures to prove it!

We are a very bonded pair of male cockatiels named Joey and Mickey. Once upon a time had a good home. We are quite accomplished singers and dancers who are very social and tame. One day we were surrendered by our owners to a shelter because they were tired of our singing? Can you believe it!!? When the Mickaboo volunteer came to check us, we were so sad, we had no song to sing. She came back to pick us up, and we were so happy, we were singing and dancing in the carrier. We like to find those special corners where we can sit and think cockatiel thoughts. We are very happy together and would be happier still to spread our joy in our forever home. We would be very happy to put our wandering days behind us. Will you let us settle down with you?
