I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

Some people say that cockatiels are the most mellow and easygoing of the parrot family, and in our case that's no lie! We are Hettie and Hester, two of the friendliest, gentlest and most inquisitive birds you'll ever meet. If you want birds that'll stay out of your business, we're not for you. We love to be right in on the action -- on a shoulder, running around on the keyboard, standing in the middle of your plate when you're trying to eat dinner. We love to "help" our foster mom knit and climb all over her when she's trying to watch a movie. We're both girls, so we don't do a lot in the way of whistling and talking, but Hester has a pretty mean wolf whistle. Hettie has a history of egg-laying, but we haven't had an egg since the very first day we came to Mickaboo. Like most sisters, sometimes we argue, but we've gotten along very well since day one and need to come to a new home together. We're looking for a place that'll let us be in the middle of things -- we wouldn't have it any other way!
