Hi, I am Petey. I was picked up from the shelter by a wonderful Mickaboo volunteer and taken directly to the vet. I did a brief stint in the hospital but I am healthy now! Boy does it feel good to be out of that shelter...whew! I am now in a really awesome foster home with a mom who is working on socialization with me. I do admit I am pretty scared of hands but can you blame me??? If you had been on the rollercoaster that I call my life you'd be afraid of humans too. In my new foster home I am getting the love and attention I deserve and a chance for my true colors to shine through. You know, patience is the key with us stray cockatiels and in time we come around. It may take longer for some of us than others but please don't give up on me; I've got a whole lotta living to do. Is my forever home with you???
