UPDATE 1/1/2008: Do I look familar to you?!?! Surprise....I was formerly known as Smokie Ann but boy did I give my foster dad a surprise today! I had a whistling contest with one of my cockatiel friends here in my foster home. I could only keep it a secret for so long....I could no longer keep it to myself. My beautiful whistle and song goes to show that I am acutally a sweet baby cockatiel BOY. It sure does feel good to finally come clean. It is a new year after all; thought I'd start it off right. I have not gotten much one on one time with my humans so I am not as tame as I used to be but I do have lots and lots of potential. These days I prefer to hang with the rest of the gang here in my foster home. But I am as sweet and cute as ever and if you pick me I just might get back to my old tame self.
*************************** Hello! I am happy to meet you, whoever you are! I'm a very very young white-face cockatiel that is still just amazed at the world! I like to eat and sit on someone's shoulder, and groom my feathers, and chirp sometimes. Oh yeah, and to fly. Sheesh. Since they trimmed my wings I keep flying into the floor. I'm sure if I just flap hard enough I'll get some altitude but it's not working!

I'm a very unusual color for a cockatiel -- kind of a smokey brown. My wings must have grown out when nobody was looking, and I just powered on out of there! Then I was lost for a while and got very very hungry indeed. Now I'm back to being a fat and sassy baby boy, ready to play. Would you like to play with me?
