Hi, I'm Chirpy, and I guess you could say I'm a wartime refugee, but the United Nations doesn't have a relocation program for refugee budgies, so here I am with Mickaboo! I'm about 9 years old and grew up with my young owner, but now he's all grown up and has left home to go off to war, leaving me behind in a household with cats and no one to keep me company. I'm a very friendly guy, very mellow and quiet. I step-up on people's fingers, and I could become a good friend to someone that could spend a little time with me. I'm not used to other birds and am a little overwhelmed with the five other budgies in my foster home, although I'm warming up to them. My foster mom says I'm really sweet and I like being on people's fingers. I think I'd be completely happy as the only bird in a household or even with other birds, if you could spend time with just me.
