Helloooo! (If I could speak your language I would call to you in a sweet little voice). I'm a little guy and I don't want you to overlook me! My name is Ellis. I used to be called Pepino. You might want to call me Uncle Sam because with red, white, and blue feathers on my head I look very patriotic. I am a White Front Amazon, the smallest of the amazon species and approximately 10 years old. I am probably male because my species has some minor feather marking differences between the sexes and I look just like Marty, another White Front Amazon male. I was a graduate of Mickaboo about 5 years ago and went to a home where the birds live in an environment without cages and were allowed to fly around in a jungle-like atmosphere. I became very bonded to another bird there that just happened to be my caretaker's favorite. When our mom came in and started loving on her favorite, I just had to attack her to protect my own interests. I used to be reasonably tame but after a while my mom and I were on "no-touching" terms. My mom thought we needed a change so I'm back now in a Mickaboo foster home. If you are checking around for a small bird with a big amazon personality, check me out.
