Mickaboo rescues birds. Many of them come from animal shelters, where they may have been left by people who found them or even by people didn't want them any more. Many times they end up in a shelter because they were lost in the world, and sometimes something has hurt them. That is what happened to Belinda. She was found in a field, missing many feathers, badly bruised, and in serious trouble. She was taken to a shelter, who called Mickaboo. We rushed her to an avian vet, who waited for her. Everyone did what they could, but it was too late. Please keep your birds safe at home. Keep your windows and doors screened when your birds are out of their cage, and guard them safely. We don't want to make these late night trips with little lost birds that cannot live through the night.
