Hello! My name is Mac and since I am a DNA certified female, lets just say Mac is short for Mackenzie, which means "fair one". I am definitely a fair and beautiful Blue Front Amazon and only 27 years old. I've had several homes most recently with a veterinarian and her husband. They were taking care of me because my owners weren't able to. I am generally quiet, say a few human words, good with adults and other animals and REALLY REALLY like shoulder sitting. I know Mickaboo will say never put an Amazon on your shoulder but I might just be one of the exceptions. I may also be an exception when it comes to biting athough don't quote me on that. I seldom find a need to chomp down on anyone unless that person is a stranger. If you take time to get to know me, you'll appreciate how mellow and affectionate I am. I am a typical Amazon when it comes to food and will eat about anything. However, I just don't get "broccoli". YUK! I know how to step up and love head skritches. If you are thinking about adding a sweet and beautiful amazon to your life, you could do a lot worse than getting to know me.

I have a blog! Read about my daily antics at: http://macsdailyjournal.blogspot.com

Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot. If you intend to house an amazon, please research the following websites:
