Fillmore was a stray who was picked up in very poor condition in San Francisco. Unfortunately despite the attention of an avian vet and the good wishes of plenty of Mickaboo volunteers, Fillmore died shortly after being found out in the cold. Although Fillmore didn't make it, at least he/she died in a warm and caring place. Notice: Due to the sometimes difficult nature of amazons, Mickaboo prefers that amazons not be a households' first parrot.
