I've been happily adopted, but check below for a list of other sweet birds who need a home!

My name is Lombard and I'm one of the San Francisco Telegraph Hill parrots. I was found after crashing and taken to the SFACC, who sent me to a local vet. From there I came into Mickaboo's care on Christmas Eve.

My wing was badly dislocated, but it's bandaged up, I'm on pain medications, and I've been busy trying to pick the bandage off! I should heal up ok, but the vet thinks it's highly likely I'll never fly again.

I'm sure I'm not the sort of red-and-green decoration that people wanted to have this holiday season, but at least I'm in good hands, getting wonderful care, and am warm and fed.

If you'd like more information about me or how to let me be reminder of the in your home all year round, let Mickaboo know.

For more information about the birds from the San Francisco flock that come into Mickaboo, check out our new blog that shares stories, news updates, pictures, and other information about the birds we've helped in the past and are helping now: http://wild-parrots.livejournal.com/profile. Posts in the blog just about Lombard are here.
